POINT PLEASANT — The free concert series, Mayor’s Night Out, has hosted some popular entertainers this summer.
This Friday, Bunkhammer will take the stage for a free concert from 8-10 p.m. on the main stage at Riverfront Park. Bunkhammer was scheduled to perform earlier in the summer at Mayor’s Night Out but the show was rained out.
Band members Steve “Sweat” Thomas (lead guitar) Ray “Rayzor” Oldaker (rythmn guitar), Gregg “Greggarious” Garrison (bass guitar) and Culley “C-Dawg” Thomas (drums) will be bringing their own brand of blues and rock-and-roll to the audience.
Coming up for Mayor’s Night Out, Aug. 7, Four Ever Blessed (gospel); no concert Aug. 14 due to Mason County Fair; Aug. 21, Two River Junction (classic country, classic rock); Aug. 28, Mason Dixon and Backwoods Brotherhood (country).
Artists the Modock Rounders, Living Proof, Blue Z Band, Paul Doeffinger and New Salvation have already taken the Mayor’s Night Out stage this summer.
The free concerts are sponsored by the City of Point Pleasant.
