The Mason County Sheriff’s Department reports the following arrests Feb. 3-12: Charles C. Sullivan, 48, West Columbia, possession with intent to deliver, arrested by Deputy Cavender. Danny M. Griffith, 24, New Haven, possession with intent to deliver, arrested by Deputy Waugh. William M. Armantrout, 42, Point Pleasant, aggravated DUI first offense, destruction of property, arrested by Deputy Waugh. Jerry L. Alkire, 42, Leon, violation of DVP, arrested by Deputy Ferrell. Eric Dye, 35, Glenwood, capias, fleeing from officer, arrested by Deputy Ferrell. Frankie L. Hogsett, 38, Pomeroy, Ohio, aggravated DUI, arrested by Deputy Waugh. Lisa G. Federer, 43, Huntington, DUI, arrested by Deputy Waugh. Michael A. Salmons, 33, Ashton, domestic battery, arrested by Deputy Ferrell.

Mason County EMS

Between Jan. 24 – 31, Mason County EMS was toned out a total of 148 times. In that seven day period; Station 100 had 88 calls, Station 200 had 28 calls and Station 500 had 32 this will include all calls, transports, emergencies and all others. There were 148 total; 25 general medical, 4 abdominal pain, 1 allergic reaction, 4 altered mental status, 9 breathing problems, 9 chest pains, 2 diabetic emergency, 5 fall, 1 head injury, 2 hemorrhage/laceration, 4 overdose, 1 psychiatric problems, 1 stroke/CVA. There was 28 calls which resulted in not taking a patient anywhere: 3 ALS assists,1 BLS treated transported ALS, 11 cancelled enroute, 2 lift assist to another EMS Crew, 2 no patient contact, 5 patients refused care, 3 treated then refused, 1 treated transferred to air medical. There were 84 patients taken to the area hospitals: 50 to PVH, 13 to HMC-G, 2 to HMC-P, 10 to SMH, 07 to CHH, 1 Riverside Methodist and 1 to CAMC. These include transports as well as emergencies. Transport breakdown included ALS transports, 7; BLS transports, 46. PVH transferred 34 patients from their facility
