POINT PLEASANT — The Family Resource Network, in conjunction with other community agencies and individuals, will once again be hosting the “Mason County Family Christmas.”
The event will be held Saturday, Dec. 10, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the former Central Elementary School gymnasium, located at 1200 Main Street in Point Pleasant.
“The Mason County Family Christmas is about the community pulling together to provide a good holiday experience for local children and their families,” said Greg Fowler, executive director of the Family Resource Network. “Over the past few years, we have created an atmosphere where parents can bring their children and enjoy the event.”
Many activities are planned for the children, including pictures with Santa and face painting. Community agencies will host craft tables where the children can make items to give as gifts or to decorate their Christmas trees at home.
The entire event is free of charge and open to the public. The Family Resource Network will be serving cookies and punch.
Fowler said there is still space available for community agencies and organizations to set up tables.
“The event has grown each year, and we expect that to be the case again,” he added.
To schedule a table, or for additional information, contact Fowler at 304-593-0072.
