The Mason County Democratic Party will host its annual Christmas party and pot-luck dinner Sunday, Dec. 2, 1-4 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church’s Fellowship Hall, 2222 Jackson Ave., in Point Pleasant.
The Party will provide the turkey, rolls, tea, and coffee. Guests are asked to bring a vegetable and a dessert along with a door prize valued between $10-$20. Canned or non-perishable foods will also be collected for the various Mason County food pantries for those who wish to participate.
Democrats will also have a float in Point Pleasant’s Christmas parade Friday evening. Line up on Main Street will be a 5 p.m. with the parade beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday morning, the group will participate in the Mason-New Haven parade. Line up is at 11 a.m. at the New Haven Community Center. The parade starts at 12 p.m.
