The Leon Luckies 4-H club members have kept busy in October.

The Leon Luckies held a trick-or-treat at the RJW Construction Site (formerly the Leon/Buffalo Health Center) in Leon. The event day was cold and wet, but that did not stop people from attending. Several people were set-up to hand out treats and several attended to receive the treats. The club provided free hot dogs with multiple fixings available and bottle water. The club also provided free games with a prize each time a game was played. Members of the club extend a thank you to Leon General for donating the hot dogs and Leon United Methodist Church for donating the bottle water. Also, members of the club give a special thank you to the RJW Construction, for allowing use the facility for the event.

The Leon Luckies officers recently attended the 4-H Officer Training School at the Bellemead United Methodist Church in Point Pleasant. The officers received training on how to do a good job for the office they presently are holding.
