Nola Ellastine McDade, 77, of Leon, passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2013, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 3, 1936, in Mason County, a daughter to the late Walter A. Knapp and Mabel R. Rollins Knapp. She was a telephone operator for AT&T, and was also a member of Harvey Chapel Church in Leon.

She is preceded in death besides her parents, by her husband, Perry McDade, and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her two daughters, Delia and (Dallas) Campbell of Leon and Karen Campbell also of Leon; one brother, Walter Otho Knapp of Barberton, Ohio; two grandsons, Adam and Matthew Campbell; and one great-grandaughter, Madison Campbell.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, February 27, 2013, at the Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Rev. Sampy Hart officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery in Flatrock. Friends may visit the family from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 26, at the funeral home.
