Carl (Bingo) Johnson, 78, of Mason, went to be with the Lord on February 20, 2013, at his residence in Mason. He was the son of the late Fred and Delilah Johnson.

He is also preceded in death by his wife, Evalyn Johnson; and his son, Danny, and his daughter, Jill Johnson of Mason.

He retired from the old Foot Mineral Plant in New Haven. He was also a member of the Mason Volunteer Fire Department for 40 plus years.

He is survived by his sons, David (Tammy) Johnson of Pomeroy, Ohio, Donnie (Peggy) Johnson of New Haven, Terry (Vicki) Johnson of Point Pleasant; daughter, Vicki Hysell of Mason; 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

The service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, February 22, 2013, at the Soul Harvest Church in Mason. Officiating will be Pastor Greg Collins and Pastor Jason Simpkins. Burial will follow in the Kirkland Cemetery in Point Pleasant. The viewing will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., prior to the service on Friday.
