Mary M. Adkins Queen, 69, of Point Pleasant, passed away on February 16, 2013, at Pleasant Valley Hospital. She was born on April 10, 1943, in Logan County, a daughter to the late Levi Adkins and Dovie Sizemore Adkins. She was a Nurse’s Assistant at various hospitals in the area. She also was a member of the Apostolic Church in Gallipolis, Ohio.

She is preceded in death besides her parents, by three brothers, Kenneth R., Willard Lee, and Harlin Adkins, and one sister; Roberta Stover.

She is survived by her loving husband, Cecil Queen Sr. of Point Pleasant; her son, Cecil and (Kathea) Queen Jr., also of Point Pleasant, daughter, Cameron Yancey of Point Pleasant; and sister, Bertha and (Birdie) Queen of Southside, and six grandchildren.

Funeral services will held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, February 20, 2013, at the Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Rev. Marshall Bonecutter officiating. Burial will follow in the Centenary Cemetery, in Centenary, Ohio. Friends may visit the family on from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at the funeral home.
