Dennis Leslie Rodgers, 46, of Point Pleasant, passed away suddenly at his home on January 12, 2013. He was born on October 7, 1966, in Gallipolis, Ohio, a son to Danny Rodgers of Point Pleasant, and Jeanie Brooks also of Point Pleasant. He was an engineer for the Ingram Barge Line, and served in the U.S. Marine Corp.

He is survived by his parents, Danny (Lill) Rodgers of Point Pleasant and Jeanie (Bob) Brooks also of Point Pleasant; grandmother, Jean Casto of Point Pleasant; sons, David Rodgers of Henderson, and Dennis Rodgers of Gallipolis, Ohio; daughter, Leslie Rodgers also of Gallipolis, Ohio; brothers, Douglas Rodgers of Point Pleasant, and Daniel A. Rodgers of Morgantown.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 17, 2013, at the Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Rev. James Lawson officiating. Burial will follow in the Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant, with full military honors conducted by the Marine Corp Honor Guard of Charleston, and the American Legion Post #23 Honor Guard of Point Pleasant. Friends may visit the family from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at the Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.
