Leo Michael Pearson, 63, of Point Pleasant, passed away at Pleasant Valley Hospital on December 13, 2012.

He was disabled. He was born on November 10, 1949, in Mason County, a son to the late Wesley Pearson and Frances Whitt Pearson.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Boles Pearson of Point Pleasant; son, Michael Pearson and Stacie Peters of Point Pleasant; daughter, Shirley Pearson Riffle and Johnny Billings of Kegley; brothers, Johnny (Vicki) Pearson of Point Pleasant, Charles “Punk” Pearson of Leon; sister, Jenny (Jerry) Williams of Gallipolis, Ohio; a very special nephew, Duwayne Pearson of Point Pleasant; special niece, Tammy “Bam Bam” Pearson; grandchildren, Marley Rose Riffle, A.J. Riffle, and Brianna Nichole Pearson; his best friend, Homer Matheny; many nieces and nephews; and a host of friends and neighbors.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, December 17, 2012 at the Sand Hill Cemetery in Point Pleasant. Friends may visit the family from 6-8 p.m., Sunday, December 16, at the Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant. At his request please do not send flowers.
