John Reed Weeks, 85, of Pomeroy, Ohio, died on Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at home following a long illness.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, October 19, at the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home, with a memorial service officiated by Pastor Thomas Johnson to be held at 1 p.m. A private burial will follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or The Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute in Columbus, Ohio.
