She was born April 3, 1926, in Mason County, a daughter to the late Everett and Carrie Dye Jordan. She was a homemaker and a member of the Wesleyan Bible Holiness Church in Middleport, Ohio.
In addition to her parents, was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Myers whom she married on August 29, 1945, and who died on May 15, 2006, after 60 years together.
She also was preceded in death by her brothers, Harry, John, and Ralph Jordan; and sisters, Ruby Rasor and Reba Marcum.
She was a loving mother to Gary and (Vicki) Myers of Gallipolis, Ohio, and Reba and (Curt) Clonch of Gallipolis, Ohio. She also is survived by her grandchildren, Lori Harbour of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Amy and (Joe) Allen of Mechanicsburg, Ohio, Janna and (Scott) Michael’s of Point Pleasant, Christi and (J.C.) McGraw of Point Pleasant, and Teresa and (Buck) Reynolds of Bidwell, Ohio; great grandchildren, Noah Allen, Kayci Michael’s, Rhiannon and Thomas McGraw, and Isaiah and Gracelyn Reynolds; sisters, Jewell and (Harold) Durst of Gallipolis Ferry, Phyllis Bonecutter of Gallipolis Ferry, and Beulah Bechtle of Southside; brothers, Don Jordan of Gallipolis Ferry, Jim and (Ruby) Jordan of Gallipolis Ferry, Larry and (Naomi) Jordan of Gallipolis Ferry, and Wilbur and (Ellen) Jordan of Gallipolis Ferry.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, May 19, at the Deal Funeral Home of Point Pleasant with Rev. Carl Ward and Roger Manley officiating. Burial will follow in the Beale Chapel Cemetery in Apple Grove. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
