POINT PLEASANT — The Mason County Board of Education recently honored employees in the school system who had retired between the months of Oct. 2008 and Nov. 2009. A dinner reception was held in their honor.

Those being recognized included retirees, Karla Ball, Sandra Blake, Serena Brumfield, Katrina Cooper, David Graham, Rick Handley, Brenda Johnson, Permalee Layton, Roy Martin, Sharon Nunnery, Christine Phillips, Robert Russell, Larry Staats, Linda Tatterson, Sue Ann Thacker, Pamela Thomas, Barbara Williams, Judy Williamson, Beverly Wilson, Sherry Wright and Mickey Young.
