Dear Editor:

All over the media outlets in America, what you will hear is identity theft this and that.

Free programs for so long, then the charges ensue. The question is, “Do I really need this?”

One commercial has the CEO of the company giving everyone his Social Security Number. Of course they tell you that you’re safe, because somebody is always monitoring it.

Why would you want to advertise your personal information in the first place? Is it some type of an ego trip?

Basically what it’s called is marketing and sales. You can do the same stuff that these companies do, without paying for it.

Check who you are buying from and keep personal details to yourself. If you throw away your bills with personal information, simply shred them with your hands or a machine.

These companies are making big bucks, based on the laziness of the American people. This service is not even close to a need. I really cannot even see it close to being a want.

Take responsibility for your actions, and quit making corporate America even wealthier.
