Judith Gail Musser, 70, of Charleston, formerly of Mason County, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2009 at the CAMC General Hospital.

She was born on July 31, 1939, and was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Phyllis Holder Lyons. Judy was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Musser.

Judy was a retired Post Mistress in Mason County. She was a 1957 graduate of DuPont High School, was a member of the Malden Magnolia Red Hat Society and enjoyed spending time at her camp on the Greenbrier River in Pocahontas County.

She is survived by step son, Michael K. (Mary) Musser of Jackson, Ohio; step daughters, Cindy K. (Todd) Kimes of Pomeroy, Ohio and Teresa L. (Jeff) Patterson of Pomeroy, Ohio; sisters, Sally (Gary) Chestnut of Belle and Nancy (J. D.) Waggoner of Malden; 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 9 at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden.

The committal service will be held at 1:30 p.m. in Sunrise Memorial Park in Letart.

Her family and friends will gather for the visitation on Friday from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 301 RHL Boulevard, Charleston, West Virginia 25309.
