West Virginia State Police

LAKIN — An accident involving two vehicles occured Sept. 22, 2009.

Benjamin Brent, 34, of Huntington, was driving a 1999 Toyota Camry. Sarah A. Finley, 24, of Milton, was driving a 2008 Jeep Compass.

Brent was traveling east on Ashton Upland Road, approaching an intersection, when Finley’s vehicle was traveling west, turning onto Aston Upland Road. Finley turned in front of Brent’s vehicle.

Both were taken by Cabell County EMS to St. Mary’s Hospital. Corp. C.K. Zerkle investigated the accident.

WEST COLUMBIA — Carroll V. Atkinson, 39, of Point Pleasant, was arrested Wednesday by Dep. Forrest Terry on charges of trespassing.

• Nathan D. Petrie, 19, of Point Pleasant, was arrested Wednesday by Dep. Dustin Pearson on charges of bailpiece.

• Walter J. Singleton, Jr., 18, of West Columbia, was arrested Thursday by Dep. Dustin Pearson on charges of petit larceny.

• Ralph D. Camp, 19, of West Columbia, was arrested Thursday by Dep. Dustin Pearson on charges of petit larceny.

Point Pleasant Police Department

POINT PLEASANT — Jeremy D. Fox, 39, of Point Pleasant, was arrested Sept. 26 by Ptrl. DeWeese on charges of carrying a concealed weapon.

• Blaine Riggs, 38, of Point Pleasant, was arrested Friday by Ptrl. Raugh on charges of domestic battery.

MASON — Chief Jason Gilley reported no accidents or arrests.

Hartford Police Department

HARTFORD — Chief Sam Anderson reported no accidents or arrests.

Henderson Police Department

HENDERSON — Chief David McCoy reported no accidents or arrests.

New Haven Police Department

NEW HAVEN — Chief Rich Gilkey reported no accidents or arrests.
