He was born Dec. 23, 1945 in Gibbstown to the late Willie E. Edwards and Evelyn M. (Gibbs) Edwards. He worked as a railroad signal maintainer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by infant children, Deryl James and Emily Ann Edwards; brothers, Marvin Edwards, Bernard Edwards, Jarold Edwards; and sister, Eleanor Edwards.
He is survived by his daughter, Angela (Jason) Rose of Tenn.; three grandchildren; sister, Carol (Jim) Will of Pomeroy, Ohio; brothers, John (Bonnie) Edwards of Mason, Larry (Margaret) Edwards of Rutland, Ohio, Glen (Edwina) Edwards of Clifton, Wayne (Crystal) Edwards of Hartford, Ralph (Janet) Edwards of Cottageville; aunt, Rudy Gibbs of Letart; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21 at Foglesong-Tucker Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21 at the funeral home with Pastor Charlie Kearns Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Zerkle Cemetery.
