APPLE GROVE — Jesse Crawford will be returning to the Point Pleasant Riverfront Park stage tonight to perform during the second annual Miss Mothman Festival Pageant.

This will be Crawford’s second time to entertain at the largely anticipated pageant, but it is not just the second time he has graced the stage with his talent.

Crawford was selected this summer as the WBYG Big Country 99.5 Colgate Country Showdown winner. The event took place during the Point Pleasant Sternwheel Regatta, and Crawford wowed the crowd and judges with his ability to sing, play guitar and the harmonica, all at the same time. He then went on to compete at the Colgate County Showdown state finals in August, which took place in Parkersburg.

Crawford said that he looks forward to singing at the pageant and that he enjoys taking advantage of any opportunity to play.

The 21 year old from Apple Grove will take the stage approximately around 6:45 p.m. and sing twice throughout the competition.

The second annual Miss Mothman Festival Pageant will begin at 6 p.m.
