POINT PLEASANT — Point Pleasant Junior Senior High School announces their August open houses.
For 10th grand students and parents, the open house is Monday, Aug. 17 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. and Tuesday, Aug. 18 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Schedules will be distributed to those sophomores present, if ready. All other students’ schedules will be available Aug. 26.
The seventh grade students and parents orientation will be held Thursday, Aug. 20 at 5:30 p.m. This is an orientation for the Class of 2015. Schedules will be distibuted to those present and other students’ schedules will be available Aug. 26.
Market Hog Show
POINT PLEASANT — Additional awards given at the Market Hog Show held Monday at the Mason County Fair just became available.
Senior Showmanship went to Cole Sloane, Kalee Edmonds and Caroline Thompson. And Junior Showmanship was awarded to Carlee Edmonds, Jeremy Tate and Elizabeth Hendrick.
Winning the Born and Raised Award was Kaci Riffle.
