He was a carpenter and member of the VFW Post #9926. He also was a WWII Veteran Air Corp. He was born April 5, 1918 in Apple Grove. He is the son of the late Lew Richard Bush and Sarah Edith (Jeffers) Bush.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Hallie (Boyer) Bush; son, Gary W. Bush; two grandsons; six brothers; and two sisters. He is survived by sons, Louis H. (Janet) Bush of Racine, Ohio and John M. Bush of Mason; daughters, Carolyn Y. (Mitchell) Holley of Mason and Virginia A. James (Neal) of Mason; daughter-in-law, Julia Bush of Atlanta, Ga.; 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Thursday at Foglesong-Tucker Funeral Home. Private burial will be held later at Blaine Cemetery in Cottageville.
