He was born October 16, 1930 in Olcott, a son to the late Gifford and Pearl Vickers Egnor.
He was a coal miner and member of the American Legion Post 23 of Point Pleasant and VFW of Mason. He was also a Korean War Vet.
Buddy was a loving and caring father and grandfather.
He is survived by his ex wife and special friend of many years, Ellen Egnor of Gallipolis Ferry; children, Lisa and (Chris) Ashley of Gulf Port, Miss., Buddy Egnor II of Cincinnati, Ohio, Ashley and (Zach) McCoy of Point Pleasant and Vicky and (Dicky) Miller of St. Albans; seven grandchildren, Bristol, Madison and Blake Egnor, Joseph Pearson, Amelia Hogue, Jake, Ashley and Sarah Governale; great grandchildren, Brandon and Jonathon Governale; brothers, Dwaine and (Mona) Egnor of St. Albans and Max and (Norma) Egnor of Teays Valley; sisters, Patsy Adkins of Point Pleasant, Nadine and (Ken) Blansett of Placentia, Calif., Jackie and (Walter) Cantley of Oxford, N.C., Judy and (Ross) Kelford of Germantown, Tenn., Karen Qualls of San Juan Capistrano, Calif. and Jean Kay Garretson of Peytonya; friends, Mike and (Bonnie) Young; and several nieces and nephews.
In accordance to his wishes, he will be cremated with a Memorial Service that will be on Saturday, July 25, 2009 at the Deal Funeral Home with Rev.
