My name is Carol Camp. I am the backup singer to Mr. Jim Forshey, who performed at Riverfront Park on Friday, June 12. I am writing to let you know that Jim and I have officially declared your city the most beautiful of all the places we have been.
We looked up the park on the Internet a few days before the show and we were amazed at how nice it looked. We were so excited about performing in such an awesome setting, we couldn’t wait to get there.
The online photos were nothing compared to the real thing. Absolutely beautiful. We want to say thank you for having us and thank you to the three staff members who were right there from start to finish. It is always nice to go somewhere and perform and have people there that are guiding you, instead of just saying here it is, have at it. They were courteous, respectful and very helpful. We sincerely appreciated it.
Although it was a smaller crowd than we had hoped, they were great. It was so much fun and if ever the need arises, we would love to come back. Thank you again for allowing us to be a part of your Mayor’s Night Out, we were honored.
