Submitted photo - The reigning 2009 Miss Teen Kanawha Valley Payton Whitt recently made a surprise visit at Magic Years Daycare Center in Point Pleasant. Whitt, a former student at the center, spent time with the children and talked to them about her platform, H.E.A.R.T. (healthy eating, exercise, awareness, results, training.) Students are pictured with Whitt, and one little girl even wanted to wear the crown. Whitt, who is 16 and a sophomore at Point Pleasant High School, will compete for the title of Miss West Virginia’s Outstanding Teen in June.
