John William “Bill” Joyce, 60, of Letart, took his last breath on earth and his first in heaven with his Savior on Monday, February 18, 2013. He was born in Scott Depot on July 7, 1952, to Jack C. and Betty L. Joyce. He was an unbelievably wonderful husband, father, paw paw, son, brother and friend.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Coogan Joyce; brother, Jack Steven Joyce; infant sister, Sandra Lynn Joyce; grandparents; close friend, Doyle; and his many dogs.
Left to mourn but cherish his memory is his loving wife of 23 years, Kimberly Maynard Joyce; son and best friend, Jack William; beautiful and adored daughters, Jacki Lea and LeeAnna Lynn; precious granddaughters, Jaylea and Jaysa; mother, Betty (Hobie) Joyce; sister, Jodi (Jim) Stover; sister-in-law, Debbie Joyce; mother in law, Carol (Paul) Wheeler; brother in law, Kenny (Kim) Maynard; a nephew, four nieces and tons of other family and friends that loved him.
He was a man of few words but great presence and had a heart of gold. He loved his family more than anything but was taken from us too soon. His wishes were to be cremated, with no viewing or graveside service.
We will be honoring and sharing memories of him at noon on Saturday, February 23, 2013, during a two hour visitation at Crow-Hussell Funeral Home in Point Pleasant. The service will immediately follow.
