Hannan swept by Lady Flyers, 83-34

ASHTON, W.Va. — The Hannan Lady Wildcats fell to visiting Ironton St. Joesph Thursday night by a count of 83-34.

The Lady Flyers (18-3) out scored Hannan (3-13) 22-to-2 in the opening period, and followed it up with a 24-to-11 run in the second period. St. Joes went on a 37-to-21 run to end the game and seal the 49 point victory.

Hannan was led by Clarissa Crank with seven points, followed by Tamara Wilson, Pam Black and Jasmine Mays with five points each. Kara Combs finished with four points, while Heather Ellis, Chelsea Meadows, Delana McGlothin and Valerie Randolph each finished with two points.

Amber Neal led St. Joes with 20 points, followed by Hannah Miller with 17. Molly Miller and Lynsey Booker each had 12 points, Hannah Martin marked 10 points, while Haley Bartram and Rachel Martin each had four. Katie Roach and Sarah Snowden rounded out the ISJ total with two points each.

The Lady Wildcats also lost to the Lady Flyers on January 17th in Ironton, by a count of 58-21.
