The sight of the Ohio River spilling onto the docks and the amphitheater of the Riverfront Park has become a familiar sight following a heavy rain. Unfortunately with the rising water also comes fallen trees, branches, and other debris. According to the National Weather Service’s Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Service, the water level was measured at 32.95 feet as of Thursday afternoon. The service also predicted the river to crest at 35.2 feet on Friday afternoon, still shy of flood stage which is 40 feet for Point Pleasant.
