Laurence “Pete” Flora, 78, of Ashton, passed away January 16, 2013, at Pleasant Valley Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born September 27, 1934 in Cabell County, a son to the late Charles and Luella Dunn Flora. He was an farmer.
He was preceded in death, besides his parents, by two brothers, Paul and John Flora; and two sisters, Margaret Saivo and Nancy Sammons.
He is survived by two nephews, and several cousins, and friends. Special friends are Roy and Linda McCarty of Ashton.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2013, in the Beale Chapel Cemetery, Apple Grove, with Rev. Ronnie Long officiating. There will be no visitation and the Deal Funeral Home is serving the family.
