Mason County Circuit Court

The following cases were recently heard in Mason County Circuit Court by Judge David W. Nibert, according to the court docket filed in the office of Circuit Clerk Bill Withers: State v. Joshua Buttrick, extradition status hearing, due to the requested governor’s warrant from the State of Ohio not arriving, the fugitive from justice charge was dismissed and Buttrick was to be released due to being held in excess of 90 days. Pedro J. Leon, sentencing, not less than two nor more than 10 years, with 267 days credit for time served. State v. Nathanial Boggs, hearing on motion to reduce bond, bond reduced to $5,000 with home confinement, motion for special prosecutor. State v. Clinton Weethee, hearing on probation revocation, motion for special prosecutor, continued to 2:30 p.m., Feb. 7.
