Five queens and one king were crowned during Saturday’s inaugural Miss and Mister TNT Pageant at the American Legion in Point Pleasant. POINT PLEASANT — The inaugural Miss and Mister TNT Pageant was declared a success Saturday after 45 contestants participated in the event at the American Legion in Point Pleasant.
Of the contestants, five queens and one king were crowned. In addition, awards were presented to the contestants with the prettiest eyes, prettiest hair, prettiest smile, best personality and best dressed in each category.
Delyssa Huffman, pageant director and emcee, described the pageant as going very well.
“(The TNT pageant) was amazing. I can’t believe the turnout we had,” Huffman said, adding that extra chairs were added due to the large crowd.
Taking home the Wee Miss TNT crown was Emily Tackett, daughter of Calvin and Kathy Tackett of Huntington. Tackett also took home the prettiest smile award. First runner-up as well as prettiest eyes went to Jonnie Dawn Waugh, daughter of John and Carla Waugh of Apple Grove, while Emma Markins, daughter of Michael and Andrea Markins of Hurricane, took second runner-up and prettiest hair honors.
Caiden Fulks, daughter of Chris and Johnni Fulks of Gallipolis, Ohio, was named best personality in the Wee Miss category, while Skyler Higginbotham, daughter of Dustin and Jessica Higginbotham of Point Pleasant, took home best dressed honors.
Taking home the Tiny Miss TNT crown as well as well as the best personality award was Breawna Henry, daughter of Ronnie and Deanne Henry of Paden City. Baylie Rickard, daughter of Taley Roush and Jeremy Rickard and Kala Fetty of Point Pleasant, was named first runner-up. Rickard also took home the prettiest eyes award.
Allyson Gillispie, daughter of Carl and Danielle Gillispie of Letart, was named second runner-up. Kortlan Bush, daughter of Andrew and Tiffany Varian of Point Pleasant, Kali Edmunds, daughter of Jeffery and Kim Edmunds of Ashton, and Isabella Barton, daughter of Michael and Kary Barton of Point Pleasant, received the prettiest hair, prettiest smile and best dressed awards respectively.
Jacqueline Shaffer, daughter of Marc and Mozella Miller of St. Albans, was crowned the Little Miss TNT Queen. Shaffer also received best dressed honors. First runner-up and prettiest hair winner was Maggie Richards, daughter of Shawn and Mindy Richards of Parkersburg. Kayla Clark, daughter of Rich and Lori Clark of Elizabeth, was named second-runner up and also received the prettiest smile award.
Anna Litchfield, daughter Jimmy and Bridgette Litchfield of Apple Grove, took home best personality. Winning prettiest eyes was Savannah Wroten, daughter of Scott and Erica Wroten of Point Pleasant.
Destiny Sayre, daughter of Kurt and Donita Sayre of Mason, was crowned the Young Miss TNT Queen. Sayre also won prettiest hair. First-runner up honors and prettiest eyes honors went to Jessica Dalton, daughter of Darlene Dalton of Point Pleasant. Kyla Lockhart, daughter of Kurt and Kimberly Lockhart of New Martinsville, was named second runner-up as well as best dressed.
McKenna Bronosky, daughter of Julie Bronosky and the late Chris Bronosky of Point Pleasant, was named best personality. Winning prettiest smile was Breezy McCoy, daughter of Cassy Roush of Point Pleasant.
Taking home the title of Junior Miss TNT was Shelby Rodgers, daughter of Doug and Angela Rodgers of Point Pleasant. Rodgers also received the prettiest hair award. Hannah White, daughter of William and Angela White of Parkersburg, was named first runner-up and also received the prettiest eyes award.
Peyton Lovell, granddaughter of Barbara Williams of New Haven, was named second runner-up and also received best personality. Ariane Wells, daughter of Cassy Roush of Point Pleasant, received the prettiest smile award, while Alisa Pinson, daughter of Phyllis Jordan of Point Pleasant, was named best dressed.
Winning Little Mister TNT King was Kayden Jones, son of Harold Jr. and Jesica Jones of New Martinsville. Tre Gillispie, son of Carl and Danielle Gillispie of Letart, won first runner-up and best personality. Winning second runner-up and best dressed was David Gleason, son of Matilda Gleason of Point Pleasant.
Drake Lanham, son of Richie and Kiley Lanham of Cross Lanes, won prettiest eyes, and Jaden Reed, son of Terry and Julie Reed of Gallipolis, won prettiest hair. Taking home the prettiest smile award was Isaac Voorhis, son of Jessica Kirk of New Martinsville.
Other contestants in the TNT pageant were Jazahera Moore, daughter of Heather Moore of Cheshire, Ohio; Avery Richardson, daughter of Jerod and Mary Richardson of Point Pleasant; Emma-Marie Tomlinson, daughter of Tim and Betty Tomlinson of Point Pleasant; Kaitlyn Gump, daughter of Marlena Gump of Pine Grove; Ashley Tackett, daughter of Calvin and Kathy Tackett of Huntington; Emmie Waugh, daughter of John and Carla Waugh of Apple Grove; Cameron Fulks, son of Chris and Johnni of Gallipolis; Brady Edmunds, son of Jeffery and Kim Edmunds of Ashton; Breanna Tackett, daughter of Calvin and Kathy Tackett of Huntington; Lexie Johnson, daughter of Kirk and Tina Johnson of Crown City, Ohio; Michelle Gleason, daughter of Matilda Gleason of Point Pleasant; Michaela Cottrill, daughter of Mick and Heather Cottrill of Point Pleasant; and LouMasi Lott, daughter of Dan and Tamara Lott of Walker.
