Eleanor Cobb, 89, of Point Pleasant, passed away at Pleasant Valley Nursing and Rehab Center, late Thursday, December 20, 2012.

Eleanor was born December 14 1923, to the late Howard and Mary Francis (Shively) Cobb.

Besides her parents, Eleanor was preceded in death by her five brothers, Melvin, Everett, Paul, Vaughn, and Lester Cobb, and her four sisters; Clara Turley, Leotta Call, Esther Walker, and her twin, Ella Roush.

Eleanor was employed at Quality Manufacturing, and retired from Lakin State Hospital as a seamstress.

She leaves behind one special niece, Mary Ann Roush, her special friend of 60 years, Lilly K. Browning, and her godson, Roy Browning.

Visitation will be at noon on Sunday, December 23, 2012, at Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, with a memorial service at 1 p.m. officiated by Sampy Hart, with burial to follow at Beale Chapel Cemetery.

Eleanor’s care has been entrusted to Crow-Hussell Funeral Home.
