Anthony Levi Jones, 32, passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2012, at his home in Mason.

He was born in Point Pleasant, on October 28, 1980, a son to Anthony Ray Jones and Artie (Susie Cornell) Rainey. Levi loved music and playing his guitar. He also loved the outdoors, camping, caving, hiking, hunting arrowheads, and fishing. He loved taking his children on outings and teaching them of the outdoors. Also, Levi was a member of the US Army for a short time, and volunteered at the Point Pleasant EMS and Fire Department, and the Mason EMS and Fire Department.

He is preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Rondal Brumfield; and maternal grandparents, Ray and Edna Jones.

He is survived by his parents, father and step-mother Anthony and Karen Jones of Clifton, and Artie Susie Rainey of Point Pleasant; his loving wife, Jennifer (Young) Jones; two children, daughter, Tristan Raye Jones, and son, Kaden Christian Jones. Also surviving are sisters, Genia (Cornell) and Rodney Byus of Gallipolis, Ohio, and Darian Jones of Clifton; one brother, David and Adrienne Leonard of Gallipolis, Ohio; and maternal grandmother, Mary McGowan of Point Pleasant; three step-brothers, Justin Nance and Chad Nance of Clifton, and Jonathan Halley of Gallipolis, Ohio; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, whom will all miss him very much.

Services will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 21, 2012, at the Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Ronnie Wright officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may visit the family from 5-7 p.m., prior to the service.

ill never forget when holzer hosp told me my brain was bleeding and had to take an ambulance to huntington and i was so scared and then my best friend ended up being in the ambulance with me. we had lots of fun times doin stupid things. i hate tht i hadnt got to talk to or see you in a long time but im thankful for the memories may u rest in peace my friend. my condolences to the family.
