Margie (Love) Meadows, 84, of Gallipolis Ferry, went home to be with her Lord, on Tuesday, October 16, 2012. She was a homemaker and had attended Concord Baptist Church, New Hope Bible Baptist Church and the Church of Christ in Christian Union.
Margie was born on February 3, 1928, in Mason County., a daughter to the late George and Garnet (Bechtle) Love. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Meadows; two brothers, Worthy Love and George Love, Jr.; and two sisters, Jean Fowler and Thelma Love.
Margie is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Paul Darst, of Gallipolis Ferry, and Deborah and Wesley Woodruff, of Stafford, Va.; grandchildren, Paul and Christy Darst, of Gallipolis Ferry, James and Jaime Darst, of Apple Grove, David and Laura Woodruff, of Fredericksburg, Va., and Andrew Woodruff, of Stafford, Va.; and her sisters, Marie Bowling, of East Sparta, Ohio, Geraldine Ridgeway, of Canton, Ohio, and Jackie Keeton, of Fla.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, October 21, 2012, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, with Pastor Bob Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery in Henderson. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday evening, October 20, 2012, at the funeral home.
