Ora Bernice Jeffers, 79, of Glenwood, died July 28, 2012, at Pleasant Valley Hospital. She was born March 10, 1933, in Putnam County, a daughter to late Orion Hansford Holley and Clemintine “Tiny” Romine Holley. She was an retired food service worker from the State of W.Va.
She is preceded in death besides her parents, by two daughters, Candy Sue Lee, and Sandra Denise Smith; four brothers; and five sisters.
Surviving are her husband, Clayton Jeffers; four sons, Ronnie Carl Call of Marion, Va., Roger Lee Call of Naples, Fla., Ricky Joe Call, of N.C., and Dave Carl Call, of Galax, Va.; two daughters, Shirley Kay Collins of Glenwood, and Patsy Lynn Woody of South Charleston; brothers, Willie E. (Tony) Holley of Newark, Ohio, Alonzo Holley of Hurricane, Ira D. Holley of Fla., and Michael E. Holley of Pa.; sisters, Sarah Young of Fraizers Bottom, Audry Bond of Ocala, Fla.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, August 1, 2012, at the Deal Funeral Home with Brother Isaiah Crump officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Fraizers Bottom. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at the funeral home in Point Pleasant.
