Glenn Fields of Mason went to be with the lord on July 25, 2012 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Huntington.

He was born in Hartford in 1931 to the late David and Laura Fields.

He his survived by his wife, Shirley Fields of 56 years while living in Mason; he had three sons, Glenn David (Jackie) Fields of Hartford, John (Janie) Fields of Mason, Jay Fields of Hartford; daughter, Audrey (Wally) Raynes of Mason; brothers, Wetzel “Doc” (Bonnie) Fields of New Haven and Freddie (Colene) Fields of Hartford; also eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his six brothers.

Glenn was a member on the VFW Post 9926 and the American Legion Post 140. He was a Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force for 21 years retired.

There will be no calling hours requested by the family. There will be a private burial at the convenience of the family. Foglesong-Roush Funeral Home is assisting the family.
