POINT PLEASANT — For nearly 20 years, Christian comedian David Farrell has shown audiences that clean comedy can be funny.

A true American success story, this comedian, motivational speaker, youth communicator, disc jockey, husband and father offers a unique form of entertainment. His all-ages performances include stand-up comedy and impressions, and he’ll be featured in a rib-tickling event Saturday, Feb. 28 at the Lillian and Paul Wedge Auditorium inside Point Pleasant Junior Senior High School beginning at 7:30 p.m.

In 2006 and 2007, Farrell was nominated for Inspirational Comedy Act of the Year by the Inspirational Country Music Awards, sharing the honor with Mark Lowry, Dennis Swanberg, Chonda Pierce and some of the biggest names in Christian comedy. He is one of the most active Christian comedians working today, performing more than 150 dates a year.

Farrell brings a comedy and music event audiences won’t forget. This unique concert features 100 percent clean, Christian comedy, original funny songs and musical impressions of favorite Christian recording artists such as Third Day, Michael W. Smith, The David Crowder Band, Mark Schultz and more. Few other Christian comedians can bring such a balance of clean comedy and impressions that will inspire the whole family.

Tickets are available in advance at the Mason Jar in Point Pleasant, Siders Jewelers in the Wal-Mart Plaza in Gallipolis, Ohio, or on the day of the show. Proceeds from the event will go to the Point Pleasant High School Lady Knights Softball. The church or organization that brings the most members will receive 10 percent of proceeds.

For more information, call the Mason Jar at 304-675-4477.
