POINT PLEASANT — The free Mayor’s Night Out Concert Series continues this week with Joey D and the Dub V’s.

The Dub V’s take the stage at Point Pleasant Riverfront Park from 8 p.m. t0 10 p.m. on Friday, June 8. Again, the concert is free and there will also be concessions available.

The Dub V’s consist of Jeremy Russell, Joshua Billings and Joey DeVincinzo. The Dub V’s put a twist on popular pop and rock songs for audiences and have performed at several local venues.

The concert series kicked off last week and will continue every Friday night through August at the riverfront park - with the exceptions of regatta weekend and the week of the Mason County Fair.

Other acts booked to perform the free concerts which will make up Mayor’s Night Out are: June 15, Garry Lee Tolley (Elvis, 50’s country, beach, gospel); June 22, Forever Blessed (gospel).

July 6, Bunkhammer (rock and blues); July 13, Neon Nickle (southern rock, county, classic); July 20, Paul Doeffinger; July 27, Two River Junction (classic country and rock).

August 3, Rock of Ages (contemporary gospel); Aug. 17, Blue Z Band (county rock and blues); Aug. 24, Bill Hawks (county, rock and mix); Aug. 31, South of the River Band (country, southern rock, original).

Mayor Brian Billings said the acts come from a variety of different backgrounds to appeal to almost everyone who attends the series. Billings also said he encourages residents to come out to the park for the concerts for a “fun-filled evening of fellowship and great music of all styles.”
