Meth lab arrest

Brittany S. Lambert, 20, Salt Rock, has been arrested for operation of clandestine lab, conspiracy to commit a felony and alteration of pseudoephedrine. Lambert recently appeared before Mason County Magistrate Gail Roush who set her bond at $30,000 cash or surety. As of Thursday afternoon, Lambert remained in the custody of the Western Regional Jail.

According to the criminal complaint, Lambert was staying at the residence of Anthony Chandler at 322 D Rebel Ridge Rd., Glenwood, on a “regular but not permanent basis.” Neither Lambert or Chandler were home when the alleged meth lab was discovered, according to Trooper A.B. Wilson with the Mason County Detachment of the West Virginia State Police. Warrants were later issued for the duo’s arrest with Lambert being picked up by Powell of the Mason County Sheriff’s Department - Chandler remains at large.

The complaint states inside and around the residence in Glenwood were what appeared to be multiple “shake and bake” style meth cooks as well as other common meth making materials.
