Lois Jean Wyant, 76, of Pomeroy, Ohio, passed away on April 8, 2012. She was born on March 21, 1936, in Letart, West Virginia, daughter of the late Oris Green Bumgarner and Nellie Virginia Tripp Bumgarner.

Mrs. Wyant was a faithful member of the Independent Holiness Church in Rutland, Ohio. She was a bus driver for many years at Meigs Local Schools.

She is survived by her sons, Kenneth and his wife Clara Wyant, of Parma, Ohio, and Tim and his wife Carla Wyant, of Pomeroy, Ohio; two grandchildren, Aaron Wyant, of Parma, Ohio, and Amanda Wyant, of Raleigh, North Carolina; brother, Jim and his wife Connie Bumgarner, of Letart, West Virgina; sisters-in-law, Mae Gilliam, of Springfield, Ohio, Janice and her husband Dallas DeBord, of Pomeroy, Mary Haning, of Pomeroy, and Judy and her husband Harold Gilliam, of Canonsburg, Pennsylvannia; brother-in-law, Stanley Beal, of Strongsville, Ohio; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Kenneth Carroll Wyant Sr.; brothers-in-law, Luther Gilliam and James Haning; sisters-in-law, Jean and her husband Norman Wood, and Juanita Beal.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 12, 2012, at the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy with Danny Tillis officiating. Burial will follow at Meigs Memory Gardens. Visiting hours will be from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday from at the funeral home.
