APPLE GROVE — Deputies with the Mason County Sheriff’s Department arrested an Apple Grove man after executing a search warrant Friday.

Eddie Huddleston, 61, was arrested at his Millstone Road home on three counts of receiving and transferring stolen property and possession with the intent to deliver prescription drugs and marijuana, Sheriff David Anthony announced in a news release.

During their search of the home, deputies found 900 pills as well as cocaine, a large amount of marijuana and $6,000 in cash, Anthony said. The deputies also seized 40 rifles and pistols, some of which were fully loaded and ready to use, as well as a stolen all-terrain vehicle.

He added that deputies began their search during the morning hours Friday, which continued throughout the day.

Huddleston was taken before a Mason County magistrate for arraignment. He was released on a $100,000 bond.

The case remains under investigation.

The statement saying that he impregnated his own daughter is purely false and slanderious in the courts. I am closely related to Edward by family. I respect other peoples opinions and there right to speak openly, but openly does not mean the right to create fasle statements. That my firends is slander.

Thank you Mason County Sheriff Dept. It seems like every time I pick up a paper you have done it again. Please continue to get these people off the streets and stop them from selling this stuff to our children.

Great job law enforcement!! Only regret I have is that our taxes have to support this creep while he is incarcerated. Milstone will be a safer community, however wvrja says he is not in western regional at this time. Is he out on bond? At any rate may the new sherriff administration continue to work toward reducind drugs in our county, keep up the good work!!!
