POINT PLEASANT — Though most already have their Christmas plans in place, many others are beginning to contemplate where to spend New Year’s Eve.
The owner and management of the newly opened Bello Vista Estate are hoping locals choose to ring in 2012 at its inaugural event – a New Year’s Eve Party from 7 p.m. - ? on Dec. 31.
The Bello Vista Estate is better known to locals as the Bosworth mansion in Henderson, W.Va. The home (a longtime curiosity and landmark) has been christened with a new owner, Allen Bell, and new name to attract business, and upscale events, to Mason County.
Brad Deal of Point Pleasant’s The Chef House and Brad Deal Catering is the exclusive caterer for events at Bello Vista and said the hope for the estate is that people begin to utilize it for events such as weddings, receptions and other parties. He said this new business hopes to grow into a grand reputation for these types of grand, social events.
“We’re trying to create a new attraction for Mason County,” Deal said.
As for the New Year’s Eve Party, 65 of the 200 tickets have already been sold – those tickets are $100 per person and private tables are available. The evening includes drinks, dancing and a dinner prepared by Deal which will feature prime rib, grilled chicken, salad, rolls, cupcakes a candy bar and champagne flowing throughout the entire evening.
