Trick-or-treat times


MASON COUNTY – The Mason County Commissioners have set trick-or-treat times for all non-municipal areas in Mason County from 5:30-6:30 p.m., Oct. 27.


HARTFORD — Trick-or-treat is from 6-7 p.m, Oct. 27 with a town Halloween party immediately following at the Hartford Community Center. The party is for all children of the Bend Area.


POINT PLEASANT — Trick-or-treat is from 5:30-6:30 p.m., the Halloween Block Party is from 6-8 p.m. at the Riverfront Park, Oct. 27.


MASON — Trick-or-treat is from 6-7 p.m., storytelling follows at 7:15 p.m., town hall, Oct. 27.


NEW HAVEN — Trick-or-treat is from 6-7 p.m., community party at fire station follows, Oct. 27.


Conducting test


GALLIPOLIS FERRY — ICL-IP America, Inc., Gallipolis Ferry, will be conducting the monthly test of the emergency alarms at noon, Friday, Oct. 28.


Clothing giveaway


POINT PLEASANT — A winter clothing giveaway will take place from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m ., Oct. 29 at Sand Hill Road Church of Christ.


Veterans Day program


NEW HAVEN — Fairview Bible Church in Gibbstown will host a Veterans Day Program at 9:30 a.m., Nov. 6. The American Legion Post 140 of New Haven, will be presenting the “Ceremony of the Roses.” There will also be special singing and speaking. Lunch provided with soup and sandwiches following the service.


New Haven Christmas Bazaar


NEW HAVEN — New Haven’s Christmas Bazaar and parade is set for Nov. 5. To set up tables at the event, contact Shelby Duncan at 304-882-2814 - tables are $10 each. For parade information, call Robert Hysell at 304-882-3203.
