Julie Gail (Kiser) Pinnell, 93, of Millwood, passed away Sept. 11, 2011 at Jackson General Hospital in Ripley, following an extended illness.

She was born Dec. 3, 1917 in Kentuck, a daughter of the late Dennis and Artha Kiser. Her husband, Roger O. Pinnell; brothers, Keith Kiser and Perry Kiser; and sisters, Arlene Kiser, Emma Kiser, Loraine O’Hallen, Freda Casto, and Jeanette “Doll” Cottrill, also preceded her in death.

She was a homemaker, attended the Cottageville United Methodist Church, and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Chapter No. 16 of Cottageville.

Survivors are her children, R. Ivan and his wife, Margaret (Housholder) Pinnell, of Morgantown; daughter Trish and her husband, Roger McCoy, of Cottageville; grandchildren, Stacy Raines, Julie Quesenberry, Samantha Canter, and Rebecca Lynn Pinnell; great grandchildren, Heather Quesenberry, Enoch Quesenberry, Esta Quesenberry and Owen Raines.

Service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14 at Casto Funeral Home Chapel in Evans, with Rev. Gerald Sayre officiating. Burial will follow in Jackson County Memory Gardens in Cottageville. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with an Order of Eastern Star service beginning at 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the Goshen Cemetery at Kentuck, c/o Goshen Cemetery Fund, HC 80 Box 76, Kenna, WV 25248.
