Macy was born March 16, 1928 in Huntington, a daughter to the late Walter and Mahala McComas Watts. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Opal Lance, Betty Johnson; and brothers, Fred Watts and Seburn Watts.
Macy is survived by her husband, Willard Coates; son Alan (Sharon) Coates, of Point Pleasant,; daughter, Tina (David) Nibert, of Point Pleasant; grandchildren, Stacie Amburgey, Amy Gerwitz, Scott Nibert, and Lindsay Nibert; great grandchildren, Bekah Gerwitz, Caity Gerwitz, Kelian Amburgey and Rowan Amburgey; sister, Virginia Fields; and brother, Walter (Joann) Watts.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30 at the Deal Funeral Home with Rev. James Kelly officiating. Burial will be in the Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant. Friends may call from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
