Meghan Bowles, 17, was crowned the Miss Country Fall Festival Queen, and Katherine Deem, 13, was crowned the Teen Miss Fall Festival Queen.
Bowles is the daughter of Phillip and Jeannie Keefer and Jim Bowles of Leon. She is a senior at Point Pleasant Jr/Sr High School. She also received the Miss Photogenic Award.
Deem is the daughter of Deron and Missy Deem, also of Leon. She is in the eighth grade at Point Pleasant Jr/Sr High School.
A total of 14 contestants competed for the 2011 titles, and the 2010 (very first) royalty, Shelby Rodgers, Teen Miss, and Jessie Wamsley, Miss, were on hand to crown the new queens.
This year's sponsor for the pageant was City National Bank.
Other winners in the Miss division were Destiney Jordan, first runner-up and Miss Congeniality; and Brittany Sayre, second runner-up.
In the Teen division, Michaela Drummond was announced as first runner-up, while Jocelynn Frye-Wilson took second runner-up and Miss Congeniality; and Darian Miller received the Miss Photogenic Award.
Both Bowles and Deem will reign over the Country Fall Festival at the West Virginia State Farm Museum, slated for Oct. 1-2.
