He was born Nov. 8, 1949, in Mason County, a son to the late Clinton and Goldie Harris Gillispie. He was a Master Electrician for AEP. He was a member of the Point Pleasant Fire Department.
He is survived by his companion, Barbara Wolf, of Point Pleasant; special friend, Larry Spencer; Barbara’s children, Jammie Hunt and Mary Gibson; daughter, Beckey Gillispie of Bidwell, Ohio; and one grandson.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 1 at the Deal Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Kirkland Memorial Gardens with Full Rites conducted by the Point Pleasant Fire Department, which he was a Charter Member. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
