POINT PLEASANT — Earlier this month, the 2011 4-H Royalty was crowned.

The Annual Miss 4-H Pageant was held June 4 at the Mason County Fairgrounds. Winning this year’s title of Miss 4-H was Lauren Lanier.

Joining Lanier in the 2011 4-H Royalty is Alexis Meadows, who was crowned Junior Miss 4-H and Naomi Hoffman, Young Miss 4-H.

Karlee Edmonds also was named the Junior Miss 4-H first runner-up, while Kamille Bonecutter took second runner-up honors. In the Young Miss division, Emma Rice was named first runner-up and McKenna Bronosky was named second runner-up.

According to Lorrie Wright of the WVU Extension Office, pageant winners are all well-rounded 4-Hers. As part of their titles, all winners will be responsible for the promotion of the 4-H program at various events and activities throughout the year, including the upcoming Mason County Fair.
