Dorothy attended Booth’s Business College in Huntington and worked in Washington D.C. for the Federal Government. She was born on Sept. 28, 1916, in Gallipolis Ferry, a daughter to the late Joseph Augustus and Catherine B. (Lambert) Henry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar T. Keim; her brother, Eugene Henry; and her sisters, Hazel Mayes and Bessie Blankenship.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Karen Keim, of Orlando; and two sisters, Gladys Stephens, of Lincoln Park, Mich. and Vera Hedwall, of Taylor, Mich.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 9 at Jordan Baptist Church in Gallipolis Ferry, with Rev. Ron Swiney officiating. Burial will follow at Beale Chapel Cemetery in Apple Grove. Visitation will be held at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home from 6 -8 p.m. Wednesday, June 8.
