POINT PLEASANT — Three new faces can be seen at Fruth Pharmacy Corporation, including the new Chief Financial Officer Thomas Willoughby.

Willoughby graduated with honors in 1993 from West Virginia University with a degree in Business Administration. A Certified Public Accountant, Willoughby began his career with Ernst and Young, LLP in Pittsburgh as a Staff Auditor. He later served as Director of Financial Planning and Reimbursement with Camden-Clark Hospital and Chief Financial Officer for Carelink Health Plans. Willoughby came to Fruth from Arnett and Foster, PLLC where he held the position of Senior Manager in Healthcare. He currently is a member of the AICPA and the WV Society of CPAs.

John Galvan, Director of Operations

Galvan received his Bachelor of Science in Marketing in 1993 from Southern Illinois University. He then joined Walgreens in 1994 as a Store Manager. In 2001, Galvan was promoted to Manager of Corporate Customer Relations where he managed a team that handled customer complaints from all 7,000 Walgreens stores nationwide. He served as Store Manager, Market Leader from 2003-2006 supervising four community stores and managers in a district. In 2006, he joined Walgreens Corporate as Manager of Store Operations Special Assignment, Pharmacy Operations/Marketing/Purchasing. In this position, Galvan negotiated with vendors, developed marketing campaigns to promote pharmacy and managed nationwide flu shot program.

Timothy Weber, Director of Pharmacy Operations

Weber is a 1999 graduate of Rutgers University, College of Pharmacy with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Science. He began his career with Eckerd Drug Company as a Staff Pharmacist and later a Pharmacy Manager. Weber joined the Kmart Corporation in 2001 as a Pharmacy Manager, and served as District Pharmacy Manager, and Divisional Pharmacy Manager. Additionally, he held the position of Generic Category Manager from 2008-2010, managing the Pharmacist-based Immunization Program and Generic Drug Purchases, and most recently served as the Interim Director of Pharmacy Operations, overseeing approximately 1000 retail locations. He was the recipient of the 2010 Kmart STAR Award for his contribution in the area of contract negotiations.
