Jean Cooke, a lifelong Middleport, Ohio resident before relocating to Florida in 2004, passed away on Feb. 14, 2011 at Bishops Glen Retirement and Health Care Center in Daytona Beach, Fla.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth and sisters, Ruth Hill of Buckhannon, Mary Helen Davis of Middleport, and brother, George Ebersbach, also of Middleport. Survivors include her two children, Connie Pullin of Point Pleasant and Ormond Beach, Fla. and Thomas of Flagler Beach, Fla. and Park City, Utah, a sister, Alice Lalich of Spring Hill, Fla., and three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Jean was a member of numerous Meigs County social and civic organizations and a lifelong member of Heath United Methodist Church in Middleport. Her wishes for cremation will be honored and a private graveside service will be held this summer at Graham Station. Any donations in her memory should be sent to Heath United Methodist Church.
