Library addition nears completion

GALLIPOLIS — By spring of next year, Gallia County library patrons can expect to experience a significantly revamped learning center.Construction at the Dr. Samuel L. Bossard Memorial Library is going as anticipated, Library Director Debbie Saunders said, and should be finished by the end of December or early next year.“It’s gone very much according to schedule,” Saunders said.The approximately $1.3 million project features a 5,500-square-foot addition that will primarily be used for library programming, complete with a stage, projection area, and state-of-the art audio and visual equipment.
